Ugly, delicious bread...


It's the kind that when you start to cut it, you can hear the crust crackling beneath the knife. Sturdy enough to not squash under the pressure of the blade, yet chewy on the inside with lots of holes in which the butter can collect. I am having a hard time making a pretty boule' loaf. Honestly?
